Thule is a brand known for its cool and practical products, and the Shine stroller is no exception. It's among the lightest prams on the market, and feels solid and sturdy in your hands despite its simple design. It's also extremely versatile with the ability to be used from birth thanks to the accessories included which transform it into a bassinet Newborn Inlay, or Newborn Nest as well as a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter (accessories sold separately).

In contrast to other lightweight strollers like the Shine will not let you down when it comes to cargo storage, either. Its 22-pound capacity allows you to carry everything you need for a day out without having to leave everything behind.

The wheels are also very easy to attach to the frame. They snap on straight from the box. If you buy the optional bassinet the frame snaps on with ease and comes with carry handles similar to those of the Moses basket. Thule's air purifier canopy is a standout too, with a built-in fan that filters the air you breathe to remove bacteria, viruses, pollen and other nuisances. The company claims that it can filter 150 liters of air per minute and is compatible with an app which shows the air quality in the area.

The only drawback is the price. While it's cheaper than some other 2-in-1 prams complete kit still costs more than PS1,000. It's a bit difficult to swallow when there are alternatives like Thule Spring. Thule Spring that is lighter and smaller and costs less than half as much.

The durability of Thule's strollers is legendary, and I've seen them tested at the Thule Hillerstop headquarters in Sweden. To test the quality and strength of their prams, they drop them from high places, crash down slopes and traverse a bumpy track in the snow. They certainly look great!
